ISLAMABAD: The inside story of what happened to son of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, Hussain Nawaz when he appeared before Joint Investigation Team (JIT) in connection with charges of corruption anchored in Panama Papers.
Initially, Hussain Nawaz was made to wait for an hour and his counsel was not allowed to sit down before the JIT.
The JIT members directed him to produce evidences regarding London flats, and investment in Dubai and Jeddah after he was grilled on the same.
Hussain Nawaz was directed to appear before the JIT at 11am.
He was asked to sit alone after he appeared before the JIT. The sources however said the JIT members were not ready to interrogate him.
The sources further said the members who Hussain objected to seemed quite in a huff.
Later, Hussain was directed to present documentary evidences as he appear before the JIT again on May 30.
The JIT also asked him not to talk to media as he walks out
