The Pak-Afghan grudge seems to worsen only. Afghanis are holding back to every Pakistani attempt in order to mend the bond.
Afghanistan is still rigid over border fencing matter and has denied Pakistani efforts to be on one page.
A local tribal Jirga visited the neighboring country and returned empty handed. The lone purpose of tribal Jirga was to mend ties with brethren country but it proved otherwise.
Their peace offer was turned down and Jirga was not only disappointed by the Afghans but also faced unadorned criticism in this of the border for visiting Kabul in the first place. FATA’s tribal elders are not happy with the members of Jirga on their visit.
In this regard another grand Jirga was held under the chairmanship of former MNA Noor-Ul-Haq Qadri, who accused Afghani leadership over the sewn lips when its soil has been used against fellow Muslim country.
Qadri said that Afghanistan has sheltered anti-Pakistan forces for decades and imposed a proxy war on FATA.
According to Express Tribune he also announced that people who visited Kabul were not elected or selected for the Jirga neither do they represent us. He alleged those for promoting heinous agenda.
Qadri insisted Afghan President to take strict actions against anti-Islam policies and close Indian Consulates in Afghanistan.
Former federal minister Malik Waris Khan Afridi, Malik Marjan Wazir from North Waziristan, Dr Irfan Barkki from South Waziristan and some elders from Bajaur, Orakzai and Mohmand agencies were also present at the grand Jirga.
