Foreign Office Responded To Indian Air Chief’s Threat To Attack Pakistan

Foreign Office on Friday while responding to Indian Air Chief’s threat to attack Pakistan said that such irresponsible statements are a reflection of India’s ambitions.

At his weekly news briefing in Islamabad, Foreign Office Spokesperson Nafees Zakaria once again made it clear that any expanded Indian role in Afghanistan will not be in the interest of the region.

He reiterated that India is engaged in using the terrorist outfits against Pakistan and credible evidence has been provided in this regard.

Zakaria told that Pakistan has always emphasized for an Afghan owned and Afghan led reconciliation process for the resolution of the conflict.

Terming meeting with the US delegation constructive and fruitful, the spokesperson said both the sides have agreed to remain engaged to address the common challenges.

He pointed out that terrorists are a common enemy and all the countries need to work together to tackle this menace.

Highlighting the Indian atrocities in occupied Kashmir, Nafees Zakaria said that expeditious resolution of Kashmir dispute in accordance with the UNSC resolutions and aspirations of the Kashmiri people is imperative.

The spokesperson notified that silence of international community on Kashmir is a matter of serious concerns.
