West Indies lost their key wicket of Darren Bravo and were a shaky 38-3, trailing by 243 runs, on the second day of the third and final Test against Pakistan on Monday.
Bravo miscued a drive off, from spinner Zulfiqar Babar which was caught by a diving Muhammad Amir at extra cover – his first catch in the 20 Tests.
Earlier, the leg-spinner Devendra Bishoo finished with figures of 4-77 while fast bowlers Shannon Gabriel took 3-67 and Alzarri Joseph 2-57 to dismiss Pakistan for 281. West Indians started off pretty disastrous, as their opener Leon Johnson trapped leg-before by paceman Wahab Riaz in the fourth over.
Darren Bravo, made 100 runs in the first Test. However, Wahab Riaz and Muhammad Amir’s short-pitched delivered got him frustrated. On the other hand, Marlon Samuels also did not stay at the pitch for long, getting trapped in leg-before by leg-spinner Yasir Shah without scoring to leave West Indies struggling on 38-3.
Earlier, Pakistan added a score of 26 to their overnight score, before Muhammad Amir and Yasir Shah, to Joseph.
Pakistan are targeting a 3-0 whitewash after winning the first Test in Dubai by 56 runs and the second in Abu Dhabi by 133.
