Achari Masala Bhindi



  • Lady Finger (Okra) / Bhindi ½ kg
  • Chili powder 1 tsp heaped
  • Garlic  1 tsp
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Tomatoes 3 finely chopped
  • Turmeric ½ tsp
  • Oil ½ cup
  • Onion 1 fried light golden
  • Green chilies small ones whole 4
  • Achari Masala 1 tsp heaped


  1. Fry chopped onions in hot oil until light brown
  2. Now add chopped bhindi and stir well
  3. Now add garlic, achari masala, salt, chili powder, turmeric, and continue to fry
  4. Add chopped tomatoes and stir well
  5. Now add some water and continue to cook on slow flame for 10 minutes
  6. Dish out with raita and crisp naan!
