LAHORE: Alhamra Lahore Arts Council’s Executive Director R Capt Atta Muhammad Khan on Tuesday 3rd April 2018 inaugurated the Alhamra Cultural Complex’s Hall No 1&2 after its renovation.
These Halls have been opened for literary and cultural activates after three months.
At this ceremonious occasion, Executive Director of Alhamra Arts Council Capt R Atta Muhammad Khan said that, we have laid grounds of Alhamra on the state of the art technology, we in the fields of literature and culture have taken some concrete steps, these firm steps taken in the recent past will act as a milestone for the progression as well as social and cultural heritage. Both halls have been now operational with the state of the art equipment which meets the global standards, he further said.
While talking to the Media Deputy Director Admin of Alhamra Mr. Aftab Ahmed Ansari said it has been necessary to update these halls, according to the modern technology after 30 years of its construction. He also said that the whole project of renovation of these halls has been successfully completed in the record timing of three months with almost cost of 30.25 million; under the supervision of famous architect Mr. Nayyar Ali Dada (who is official consultant of this project) we changed, the complete interior including wooden floors of stages, chairs, carpets, curtains, paint &polish and other then this we have replaced old sound system with high-quality new sound system and also we have updated all kind of electrical work which was required.
A number of representatives from showbiz, art, journalism and general public attended the ceremony.
