Pentagon Refuses To Pay Pakistan The $300 Million Military Restitution

The Pentagon has refused to pay Pakistan the $300 million military refund after it was decided by the secretary of defense Ash Carter, that Pakistan is not taking any suitable action against the Haqqani network.
Because of the increasing tension among the two countries over the Taliban shenanigan that has been failing to meet with its proper solution; relations have gone sour among Pakistan and United States of America, because the US officials believe that the Pakistani government seems a little evasive to take any action against the extremist groups Taliban and the Haqqani network.
According to the Pentagon spokesperson, Adam Stump on Wednesday, saying that the military funds have not yet been released for the Pakistani government this time; as the secretary of defense believes that the Pakistani government, after all these years, has failed to get rid of the extremists.
The $300 million released by the US each year fall under the Coalition Support Fund, where a reimbursement is given to the countries so they can successfully get rid of the terrorist activities in their country – the funds, to which Pakistan is listed as the largest recipient.
With accordance to the Pentagon data, USA has already funded Pakistan around $14 billion for the past 14 years and no progress seems to have been made in getting rid of the terrorists.
