US Air Show To Have Pakistan As Participant

Pakistani fighter jets will be seen participating alongside USA, UAE and Israel, in USA’s Red Flag exercise, expected to happen in Nevada.
According to the Combat Training Squadron Commander in the USAF, Colonel Jeffrey Weed, foreign players will be participating for the second and fourth red flag exercise to take place in February and August, coming from the UK, Australia, Turkey, Italy, Pakistan, UAE and Spain.
In accordance with the US aviation magazine, there will be six Pakistani AF F16C/D Block, 52+ combat jets landed at Lajes Field, Azores. Also, there are going to be two USAF KC-135R Stratotanker aerial Refuelers from McConnell AFB on July 19. The aircraft belongs to the n°5 Squadron, generally known as the ‘Falcons’, representing the Pakistan Air Force. Red Flag exercise will be attended by the PAF Vipers this year for the second time, as their first time participation was back in 2010.
Red Flag exercise holds the highest rank in the US military, providing the participants the opportunity, to become a part of air-to-air combat training exercise in a simulated environment; enabling them to enhance and polish their aviation skills.
This year, Red Flag exercises will take place four times; first of January to February, second from February to March and the third will take place in July, which will be followed by the final exercise, to be held from 15th to 26th August.
