Whilst Pakistani women are known for bearing all the torture of their men, Egyptian women seem to have been ‘breaking the stereotypes’ by becoming number one at beating their husbands; demonstrating through their actions that it is the women that rule in the Egypt and not their men.
The news may sound impossible, but it’s true, Egyptian women aren’t like the regular ‘I’ll go with what you say’ wives, rather they are the type that could make one regret.
According to a report revealed by the Egyptian Family Court, around 28% of the Egyptian women, beat their husbands; whilst 66% are the ones who have already registered for divorce. Furthermore, the report also contains some details regarding the objects used by the Egyptian women, to beat their husbands, which are knives, slippers, belts, needles and kitchen utensils. The wives also sedate their husbands, so that they can’t resist any hit aimed towards them.
Surprisingly, abuse on the husbands is not only limited to Egypt, but women of the United Kingdom and India also don’t tolerate their husbands’ shenanigans, and are ranked in second and third respectively.
