It is pretty rare when celebrities grant wishes – especially if they are as big a star as Shah Rukh Khan, known as the ‘king of Bollywood.’ But if the request happens to come from the youngest Nobel Prize winner Malala Yousafzai, then perhaps an exception doesn’t seem out of place.

The 21 year old Pakistan’s youngest Nobel prize winner, Malala Yousafzai might be getting what she had wished for, and that too very soon.

Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan has accepted to speak at Oxford University on her request, where Malala has started her second academic year.

Yousafzai’s request is simple – she wants Shah Rukh Khan to come to Oxford University and talk to the students – The request may finally be happening!

Previously, a thread of tweets from 2016 was started by Alan Rusbridger, principal at Oxford University, which was quickly accepted by Shahrukh Khan for speaking at the honored institution. Furthermore, the tweet was retweeted by Malala and she tagged the actor.

“Can we tempt to Oxford University to talk to our students at Lady Margaret Hall? They love you (I’m the principal),” Alan Rusbridger had written.

In his tweet, SRK replied back at Malala’s retweet and instead said that it would be his ‘privilege’ to meet Malala when he comes to the university.

SRK replied to Malala saying that he would not only be coming to deliver a speech at Oxford University, but he also mentioned that meeting the Pakistani activist would be nothing less than a privilege.

Perhaps, we will soon get to see Shah Rukh Khan at Oxford – and maybe even interacting with Malala, who is currently still pursuing her degree there.

However, many Bollywood actors such Priyanka Chopra, Arjun Kapoor and Jackky Bhagnani have met Malala in the past few years.
