Four killed in blast inside house in Killa Abdullah


At least four people were killed and a dozen others were injured in an explosion inside a house in Killa Abdullah, Balochistan on Thursday.

The cause of the blast is yet to be ascertained. Police have started an investigation into the matter.

Balochistan is a volatile province as explosive devices are frequently recovered in different raids of the security forces.

The incident comes a day after nine people, including five police personnel, were martyred and over a dozen others injured in a suicide blast on the outskirts of Lahore.

The explosion occurred near a police camp, set up for the security of the annual congregation of Tableeghi Jamaat in Raiwind.

Two sub-inspectors and three constables were among the martyred while the injured include Raiwind ASP and SHO.
