ISLAMABAD: Sixteen days prior to 2018 elections, one of the major political parties Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf is set to announce its party manifesto later today at 1:00pm.
PTI chief Imran Khan will officially declare party manifesto in Islamabad, after which he will fly to Sukkar, where he is scheduled to address party workers.
A day earlier while addressing a public gathering in Muzaffargarh, Pakistan Peoples’ Party chairman Bilawal Bhutto snapped PTI chief for not presenting party manifesto so far.
During his campaign in South Punjab, PPP chairman further claimed that their party was only one with a farmer-friendly manifesto and will struggle for the welfare of the country.
“My struggle is not against any person or party. I am struggling against the deprivation of the people,” he said addressing a campaign rally in Khangarh town of district Muzaffargarh thanking the people for supporting him in his first election.
The Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz have already launched their manifestos ahead of July 25 polls.
The PTI has kicked off its election campaign, with Khan holding rallies in different cities since last Sunday.
