Since the beginning of March 30 the “Great Return March”, organized to demand the end of the blockade and the return of the refugees, 47 Palestinians in Gaza have died by Israeli fire.

The Israeli army shot dead three Palestinians on the border with the Gaza Strip. Two of the suspected Islamists were killed after they broke the siege and launched explosives in the direction of Israeli soldiers, the army said. Shortly before, another man fell while trying to cross the border. A fourth Palestinian was injured and was
arrested.

So far, 37 Palestinians have been killed since the massive protests began in late March along the Gaza border. (20.04.2018)

In a first case, “two Palestinians tried to infiltrate Israel from the south of the Gaza Strip and damage the security fence,” the army said in a statement.

In response, Israeli troops “fired on them”, and one of them died, while the other was arrested and transferred for interrogation.

The Army did not confirm to the Spanish agency Efe if the two Palestinians were armed or revealed their identity.

The Israeli army also clarified that it only fires when it is not possible to avoid a danger in another way.

A little later, in a second incident, in another attempt to cross the fence, “two terrorists who infiltrated into Israel threw explosive devices at soldiers,” said a spokesman for the Armed Forces, adding that “the soldiers fired at the terrorists “and both died.
The trigger is the 70th anniversary of the founding of the State of  Israel, which the Palestinians consider a catastrophe.

Since the beginning of March 30 the “Great Return March”, organized to demand the end of the blockade and the return of the refugees, 47 Palestinians in Gaza have died by Israeli fire, the majority in demonstrations and others in violent incidents in the border, and more than 5,000 have been injured.
