Bella Vita Review (Karachi)

Bella Vita Review (Karachi)

Living in Karachi, one thing that we are fully aware of is that for Karachiites the best way to relax and spend quality time with friends is dinning out. Living in the city with all this chaos, the very little time they get, food always seems like the best resort.

Bella Vita fits in perfectly for such plans. The menu has little something for everyone, from a ravenous food enthusiast or a savoir-faire fitness fanatic like myself, this state-of-the-art joint has a wide-range menu.

As you enter the place you are welcomed by a magnificent setting, a delightful marriage of antique cut stones and the luxuries of modernity.  Sitting in any table you have a wonderful view of the workshop-like drink station where you can see the chefs working. Though I personally feel that they needed more lights, the overall ambiance of the restaurant was contemporary and sticked to a theme.

The restaurant was offering a lunch discount deal from 12 noon to 4 p.m offering 1 Appetizer, 2 main courses, 2 lemonades and 1 cake slice for Rs. 1699+tax which is a great deal for two.

The menu offers a wide variety of mouth-watering starters. I had the Cheese Feta Salad accompanied by and Chicken Strips served with sauce. The Feta Cheese Salad was not extra-ordinary however, Chicken Strips were exquisite. Chicken was crispy from the outsides with a delicious texture yet soft and juicy from the inside. The mustard sauce made the whole experience majestic.

Chicken Strips

The main course consisted of a Chicken club sandwich, Smoked Chicken and Turkey Sandwich, Morrocon Chicken Steak, Parmesan Chicken and Fettuccine Alfredo Pasta  which really thrilled us.

Moroccan Chicken

The winner of the day was the Smoked Club and Turkey Sandwich which the perfect balance of taste and texture. Moroccan Chicken was a little dry and needed more sauce whereas Parmesan Chicken was average.

Chocolate Cake

Red Velvet Cake

Main course was followed by scrumptious dessert. Chocolate Cake was to die for however the frosting of Red Velvet cake was a bit too sweet for my taste.

All in all, the products were fresh and the dishes had the warmth of home-made food. The chefs took great care in selecting the best quality ingredients. The restaurant also caters for all tastes by providing a large selection of the drinks. I tried Mint-Lemonade which was the perfect fix on a sunny afternoon.

The staff was friendly and food was served quickly despite it being jammed-pack on a Friday afternoon.

Overall I will give 3.5 out of 5 stars.
