KARACHI: Police have apprehended at least 25 criminals during overnight raids in various areas of Karachi, media sources reported on Wednesday.
The two law enforcement agencies have been conducting raids in different parts of the city in order to maintain peace and law and order in Karachi.
As per details, an outlaw was arrested from Karachi’s Ibrahim Hyderi area by police, when he was absconding upon injuring two citizens who resisted robbery bid.
Meanwhile, Darakshan police arrested two drug-peddlers and recovered hashish and cash from their possession, while garden police had nabbed one who was involved in making ‘Gutkas’ in the area.
In another overnight action by the south police, as many as 15 accused were held who were involved in selling of contraband items.
On December 1, eight outlaws were taken into custody in a combing operation of Sindh Rangers and the police from various areas of the metropolis.

During the operation betel nut, machinery to make ‘Gutka’ and illegal weapons were confiscated from arrested law-breakers.
In another operation of the LEAs, on November 20, in the metropolis, as many as 12 suspects were held in Bhangoria goth of Karachi’s area of Azizabad.
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Central Karachi while briefing the media had said, three stolen motorcycles were recovered from the nabbed suspects.
