Globally memorable photos from 2018


2018 was an year marked by several important diplomatic developments, conflicts, natural and disasters, and of course, the 2018 FIFA World Cup.

From the ice-breaking between the North and South Korea to the relocation of US Embassy in Israel to Jerusalem which triggered widespread protests in Palestine, we revisit the bygone year through iconic photos that speak for themselves, capturing the horror, the misery, the joy, and the hopes that defined 2018.
