SIALKOT: The Sialkot International Airport Ltd (SIAL) management has avowed Shaheen Air International a defaulter of Rs140 million.
According to a press release issued on Wednesday, the SIAL management stated that the Shaheen Airways has not cleared the due amount (in shape of different taxes) to the airport. The management however has contacted Shaheen Air for the clearance of long overdue outstanding payments.
Apparently, the airline hasn’t carried out flight operations from the airport since July 5. Official authorities at the airport have urged the airline for clearance of the said dues as well as the resumption of its flight operations, according to the press release.
