Four hardcore terrorist who had been earlier tried and sentenced by military court were hanged in Rawalpindi today, read an ISPR statement. These terrorists were involved in committing heinous offences relating to terrorism, including killing of innocent civilians, attacking Armed Forces of Pakistan and Law Enforcement Agencies.
The terrorist were members of the proscribed Tehreek e Taliban and were all found guilty. The Army Chief had earlier signed their death warrants. It should be remembered that the parliament recently extended the tenure of military courts for another year.
