The “Iron Man” who broke a world record by flying over a lake with a propulsion suit

The British press calls it the “Iron Man” of real life.

But, in fact, Richard Browning is an English inventor who has just entered the record books for having flown over a lake in Reading, in the United Kingdom, with a suit of jet propulsion designed by his company, Gravity.

Browning needed three attempts to reach his goal and reached over 50 kilometers per hour .

He and his team combined miniature jet engines with an exoskeleton specially designed for the firm.

This makes it possible for anyone wearing the Daedalus, as they baptized this model, to rise vertically and fly.
