Trial court has recorded statements of witnesses on Thursday against Sharjeel Khan in Pakistan Super League (PSL) spot-fixing scandal.
Top representative of anti-corruption unit of International Cricket Council (ICC) stated before the court that the Pakistani cricket authority was already informed of the crime once the body approached it.
The court has granted Shahzaib Hasan time until May 22 to file a reply.
The ICC representative who appeared before the court in capacity of a witness against Khan acknowledged Pakistan’s efforts to curb fixing.
While talking to the media, counsel for Khan claimed that his client’s case was strong and asserted that there were contradictions among statements of the witnesses.
