West Indies stunned India during the second ODI at Visakhapatnam thanks to Shai Hope’s gutsy unbeaten ton that resulted in a nail-biting tie between the two sides.
But the headlines were dominated by none other than Virat Kohli who sprinted fastest to 10000 ODI runs, overtaking compatriot and batting great Sachin Tendulkar as the India skipper struck a mesmerising century.
While the maximum-capacity crowd at the venue witnessed Kohli’s blitzkrieg, there was a huge roar when MS Dhoni came on to bat – the same ground where he struck his first ODI hundred against Pakistan in 2005.
Despite Dhoni’s inability to stay till the end and finish the innings, he brought back memories with a huge six which was followed by a reaction that had everyone gushing.
During the 38th over, the Jharkhand wicketkeeper-batsman walloped Marlon Samuel for a biggie over his head and had a sheepish reaction as he walked to greet Kohli at the other end.
