Continuing the uptrend in Pakistan, gold price rose by Rs650 per tola and Rs557 per 10 grams. The bullion price stayed at RS125,100 per tola and Rs107,253 per 10 grams. The gold dealers told the media that even with the ongoing wedding season, the local demand for gold is minimum due to the “lack of purchasing power”.
On the other hand, in the international market, the gold prices increase by $20 per ounce and close at $1,788. The boost in the international market is due to the fall in the US dollar.
