mani Yahya is Yemen’s first female rapper. For International Women’s Day, Oxfam brought her and four other rappers together to raise awareness of the struggles of women in war. Krist Alzu’bi and Mira Irshaid from Jordan, Mayam Mahmoud and Karim Adel (Ruch) from Egypt plus Amani Yahya from Yemen came together in Beirut to record a special track in partnership with Oxfam.
