A Feather in Pakistan’s Cap!
Pakistan has outpaced China in denim export to the USA. An Indian-based textile trade publication confirmed that the annual export of Pakistan-made cotton clothing has reached $276 million from January to September 2021, exceeding China’s export of $274.63 million. There has been a considerable increase of 63.40% as compared to the last year’s export of $168.85 million against China’s $238.75 million.
The rising stats of Pakistan have also come close to surpassing Vietnam’s export record to the US which is worth $278.69 million in the same span of time.
Bangladesh continues to be the top supplier to the USA with its annual export crossing $520.16 million – a 31.40% annual increment. On the other hand, Mexico is close with the supply of $471.78 million of denim with an annual growth of 46.53%
