SBP expects Pakistan’s economy to regain COVID-19 ruins

The central bank expects the economy of Pakistan to grow by 3.49% per year to recover from the loss COVID-19 had brought to the economic cycle. The State Bank of Pakistan has said that the GDP of the country will be going up by 3.49% after what pandemic has ruined. Pakistan is expected to regain its economic strength soon.

The central bank has mentioned that for the first time in 17 years, the 9-mth current account is in surplus as the foreign account were at four year high. The last fiscal year’s target was over 2% which has now been revised to grow to 3%.
