The Sensitive Price Index (SPI) has recorded the measured inflation with a slight increase of 0.40% on December 23. A hike in the price of food items has been reported. The SPI inflation has seen an increase of 19.83% which has been the highest uprise since January 2020. The combined group of the index has also gone up from 168.16 points during December 168.83 points now.
Five food items have increased in prices such as potatoes, jaggery, 200-gram chili powder, and inions. On the other hand, the price of wheat flour has declined as the rate of 23 essential goods remained unchanged.
