The wheat rate skyrockets in the whole sale market

With the new wheat crop in the market, the highest rate of the wheat crop has been witnessed in Karachi. A 100 kg wheat bag is now said to cost around Rs 5000.

The hike in the price is due to wheat acquisition price by the Sindh Government that has led market retailers to raise the cost in the wholesale market. According to the retailers, the millers are responsible for the heavy cost.

Considering the situation, the PFMA has requested the federal government to at least bring the price of wheat and flour on equal range.
