Afghans in India – A mysterious minority

Centuries ago, ‪‎Afghan‬ men moved to #‎India‬ to earn a living by selling the dry nut known as ‪Kabulliwalla‬. They settled in ‎Kolkata‬ where the nut was in high demand.  Now, the Afghans there remain a mysterious minority, trying to preserve their heritage. Photographers Nazes Afroz and Moska Najib set out to document the narrative of 21st century kabulliwalla.
