Pakistan Likely To Recieve Rains During This Week

Met-Office predicted rain/thunderstorm at a number of places in Balochistan and at scattered places of Punjab, KP and GB-Kashmir during this week.

Met-Office informed that a westerly wave is likely to enter in Balochistan that will produce rain/thunderstorm accompanied by gusty winds at a number of places of the province during Tuesday to Thursday. Some northern and central parts of the province (Quetta, Sibbi & Kalat divisions) may receive isolated heavy falls during the period.

This same weather system is likely to grip upper parts of the country causing scattered rain/thunderstorm with isolated hailstorms over Islamabad, KP, FATA, Punjab and Kashmir on Friday/Saturday. Isolated rain/thunderstorm accompanied by gusty winds is also expected over upper Sindh (Sukkur & Larkana divisions) on Wednesday/Thursday and there are few chances (20%) of dust-thunderstorm/rain in Karachi & Hyderabad divisions on Tuesday/Wednesday.
