According to the order of Sindh Home Department, all businesses will be closed from 6 pm to 6 am and business hours will be from 6 am to 6 pm. Meeting with prisoners in Sindh jails has also been banned while all private and public educational institutions have been closed.
As per the notification, wedding halls, business centers, expo halls, shrines, beauty parlors, theme parks, amusement parks and cinemas will remain completely closed, while all business and shopping centers in the province will remain closed on Friday and Sunday.
The notification said that 20 per cent staff in government offices of Sindh government will be on duty from 9 am to 2 am, while federal government and private institutions will be bound to call 50 per cent staff.
In addition, public transport inter-city in Sindh will be banned from April 30, while 50 per cent passengers will have to board inter-city transport and SOPs will have to be strictly adhered to.
According to the notification, active surgery will be banned in Sindh hospitals, Taraweeh gatherings and Yom-e-Ali processions will be based on national consensus.
