Special Pakistan Air Force plane leaves for China for Corona vaccine

A special Pakistan Air Force plane has left for China to bring the corona vaccine.

Pakistan Air Force’s IL-78 special plane left Noor Khan Air Base for Beijing, the capital of China, to bring Corona vaccine.

The first batch will bring 500,000 doses of the corona vaccine. The Chinese Prime Minister will hand over the donated corona vaccine to Pakistan, which will be applied to doctors and medical and non-medical staff serving in hospitals.

Corona vaccine from China is being brought to Pakistan in special cold boxes filled with dry ice. All necessary steps have been taken for storage of vaccine in Islamabad, while arrangements have also been made for the transfer of vaccines to the provinces. Vaccine Neuro Centers have been set up at the NCOC and Vaccine Coordination and Administration Centers have been established at the provincial and district levels.

On Sunday, Federal Minister for Planning and Head of the NCOC Asad Omar tweeted that the Corona vaccine would be available from February by the Global Alliance Quakes for vaccine delivery. Pakistan will get 6 million vaccines by March. All 17 million doses will be received in the first half of 2021.
