One of the veteran actors of the Pakistani drama industry, Nayla Jaffri passed away on Saturday. The actor had fought a long battle with ovarian cancer. Jaffri was diagnosed with cancer in 2016 and her tough battle had started since. Earlier, Jaffri’s video surfaced on social media where she asked the production houses to pay for the re-runs of her serials, as she had a hard time funding chemotherapy and affording her healthcare. The Sindh government took notice of it and declared to bear her medical expenses.
The news of her passing shocked her fans and loved ones and they expressed their grief on social media. The actress was known for her projects such as Aa Mujh ko Sulana, Thodi Si Khushiyan, and Desi Girls.
