Saadat Hassan Manto was a Pakistani short story writer of the Urdu language. He is best known for his short stories,Dhuan, Bu, Khol Do, Thanda Gosht, Khaali Botlein “Toba Tek Singh”,Shikari Auratein and many others.

Manto is directed by Sarmad Sultan Khoosat, the film has Sarmad playing Manto followed by a stellar cast for various roles from the iconoclast’s life and short stories.

The cast includes Saba Qama, Irfan Khoosat, Sania Saeed, Hina Bayat Khan, Mahira Khan, Faisal Qureshi, Arjumand Rahim among others.
