The legendary playwright Haseena Moin passes away at 80

The iconic name of Pakistan’s entertainment industry, Haseen Moin passed away Friday morning a day after she received her COVID-19 vaccination. The writer had been fighting a battle against cancer for a few years. Her funeral was held at her residence in North Nazimabad.

Moin has given a series of renowned serials to Pakistan such as Dhoop Kinary, Ansoo, Uncle Urfi, Tanhaiyan, Kiran Kahani, and more. Moin is known for a great portrayal of women in her writing.

As soon as the news was out, Twitter was flooded with condolence messages. Famous celebrities mourned her death.
