New Zealand reports no new coronavirus cases for second straight day

For the second straight day, New Zealand has not reported any new cases of coronavirus, but officials have said it was premature to discuss moving the nation to “level one” in its alert scale.

 

The Pacific nation, home to over 5 million residents, moved to “level 2” last week, allowing cafés, shops and restaurants to reopen under tight social distancing rules, according to a Reuters report.
