According to sources, a petition has been filed in the Sindh High Court against Bahria Town’s low-cost housing scheme, Bahria Greens. The court has accepted the petition for an immediate hearing.
As per the petitioner, Mahmood Akhtar Naqvi, Bahria Town has not sought permission from the Sindh Building Control Authority (SBCA) for the construction of Bahria Greens.
He added that the area on which the housing scheme is being built belongs to the government.
In the petition, SBCA, chief secretary, Sindh, and others have been made parties.
