24-hour COVID-19 rate in France exceeds 100,000 cases

The health officials have recorded 104,611 cases in the span of 24 hours in France. The numbers have been high for the third consecutive day. The president of France Emmanuel Macron along with his prominent members of the government will be discussing COVID-19 precautions as they are concerned about the spread of the Omicron variant of coronavirus.

Now, the government has issued a health pass to the only vaccinated people to accept booster jabs. The pass is needed for public places such as restaurants, cafes, and for international travel.
