Afghan women in despair after Taliban takeover

The Afghan women students have lost the hope of a bright future ever since the Taliban fighters have taken over the country. A group of women shared the stories of their relatives from 1996 to 2001 who fled the country when the Taliban took control of Afghanistan.

According to one of the students, the women are going into darkness and despair as the Taliban haven’t done well to the country in the past. They call it a nightmare. Most of the women have escaped their country and take refuge in the Gulf Arab state. A woman said, “It took us 20 years to build our country and now everything has collapsed.”
