Iran has once again started the commercial flights en route to Afghanistan, as reported by an Iranian TV channel, al-Alam. According to the news, the Iranian Mahan airplane with 19 passengers landed in Kabul, travelling from the city of Mashhad.
Due to the Taliban takeover and the tragic situation in the country, the regular passenger services to Afghanistan had come to a halt and the Iranian civil aviation agency declared the disruption in the flights. The second-largest Iranian airline of Iran, Mahan Air, previously used to take flights back and forth every week.
