Russia promises medical aid to India to fight the COVID-19 battle

Russia has promised to provide emergency aid to the coronavirus-stricken areas in India. The number of active cases has witnessed a surge and space in hospitals is running short. The country faces a shortfall in oxygen supplies, hospital beds, and medical aids.

The president of Russia Vladimir Putin had a phone call with the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi where he had shown his support to India and said that Russia stands in solidarity with India in these difficult times.

India has become the country to face the worst side of the pandemic in the whole world and reported a world record of 360,000 new cases and above 3000 on Wednesday only. Russia will provide India with 20 units of equipment to prepare oxygen gas, 200,000 medicine packages, 75 ventilation devise, and 150 medical monitors.
