Saudi Arabia has taken an initiative to curb the spread of coronavirus variants in the kingdom. The country has imposed a three-year travel ban on the people who have visited countries that are marked in the ‘red list’ of Saudi Arabia. People involved in it will be facing heavy penalties along with the ban.
The red list includes the name of a few countries such as the United Arab Emirates, Pakistan, India, Argentina, Indonesia, Lebanon, Ethiopia, South Africa, Vietnam, Egypt, Afghanistan, Brazil, and Egypt.
The kingdom will not allow anyone visiting from these countries and will prohibit them to enter the land for the next three years. Any direct or transit flights will not be entertained. The new variant of COVID-19 is deadly and therefore, Saudi Arabia has taken this step to control the spread.
