In the light of the earthquake in Balochistan, Pakistan, US Deputy-Secretary of the State, Wendy Ruth Sherman said that she is heartbroken to learn about this incident that killed 20 people and injured over 300. Sherman took her Twitter to express grief and condolence. She said, “I am heartbroken to learn of the deadly earthquake that struck southwest Pakistan early this morning. I am flying to Islamabad tonight, and will carry with me the sincere condolences of the American people to the people of Pakistan.”
Sherman will be traveling to Pakistan along with a seven-member delegation and will reach here today on her two-day visit to the country. For this reason, Aviation Division has been ordered to exempt the US delegation from the PCR test.
