The Federal Minister of Planning, Development, and Special Initiatives, Asad Umar doubts that coronavirus cases are going to grow in the month of July. He fears that Pakistan will be experiencing the fourth wave of the pandemic. However, Umar has rejected every possibility of imposing a complete lockdown during the fourth wave.
Asar Umar has explicitly mentioned that the government may impose smart lockdown all over the country to curb the spread of the deadly virus. He added that due to Eid-ul-Adha, there are chances the infection may shoot up in the country. According to the minister, smart strategies have to be implemented to stop the spread.
On the other hand, PM Imran Khan believes that the Indian variant may cause the fourth wave in Pakistan.
