The health care secretary of the provincial government has demanded from the owners of private hospitals to arrange more high dependency units, hospital beds, and intensive care units (ICUs). The secretary has also asked to increase the supply of oxygen for the victims of COVID-19.

Starting from May 3rd, two mobile units have been introduced for the public for vaccination of COVID-19 which require senior citizens to bring their CNIC to get vaccinated. The health care secretary added that the government must be well informed of the coronavirus patients in the private hospitals by their owners.

As for the vaccines, he directed the private hospital owners to make sure there are enough vaccines and ice line refrigerators in the private hospitals to preserve the vaccines.
