Chaudhry Nisar’s visit to London sparks speculations

Although former interior minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan has arrived in the United Kingdom allegedly for a two-week visit for medical check-ups, his arrival here at a time when both Nawaz and Shahbaz Sharif are here has sparked rumors that he will approach the PML-N’s supremo for important meetings.

Prior to his visit, local media reports suggested that Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan would hold key meetings with the Sharif brothers and discuss the political situation back home.

Nevertheless, sources said a patch-up is highly improbable, as the party has does not intend to take him back. A source added: “It is really an uphill task and I don’t see it happening anytime in the near future.”
