China provides 560,000 doses of vaccine to Pakistan

Pakistan surpassed the mark of 50,000 active COVID-19 cases for the third time since the disease broke out. On Wednesday, Pakistan received 560,000 more doses of vaccine from China.

More shipping of about 500,000 doses will be arriving in the country by Thursday which will make the total vaccine supplies of about 2.5 million from China.

As per the data by NCOC, 4757 people have caught the diseases out of which 78 have passed away in 34 hours. PM Imran Khan has rejected the idea of general lockdown. However, Chief Minister Sindh, Murad Ali Shah has advised banning inter-provincial travel to control the spread of deadly disease.
