Pakistan has reported 100 deaths by a coronavirus in a day after May. After three months the surge in cases has been witnessed. Minister for Planning, Development & Special Initiatives and the head of NCOC, Asad Umar stated that AJK elections became the cause of the fast spread of COVID-19 leading the positivity rate to reach 30%. He added the violation of COVID-19 SOPs has been violated by the politicians of Pakistan ever since the virus has started.
According to the data by NCOC, 102 deaths and 4934 new cases have been reported in a single day. More than 100 deaths were reported on May 19 and 131 people died in a single day.
