COVID-19 surge expected due to Eid-ul-Adha

The active cases of COVID-19 have increased and the positivity rate seems to be going up as well. The health experts of Pakistan have predicted that Eid-ul-Adha can potentially grow the spread of the virus. On the other hand, National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) has relieved Pakistan of a few restrictions. June 30 is set the deadline for the employees of the government to get vaccinated.

NCOC has also eased the restrictions of two days of a business closure. Meanwhile, in vaccination centres, the walk-in facility is now available for people over 18 years of age. The timing of vaccination centres has also been changed to 8 am to 10 pm, except Sundays.
