Critical National Assembly Session on No-Confidence Motion to be Held Today

All eyes on the NA session!

The critical National Assembly session will be discussing the no-confidence motion against Prime Minister Imran Khan today (Friday). The 41st session of the NA will commence at 11 am after which the motion will be tabled against the premier. The NA secretariat issued a 15-point order for the day which includes the no-confidence motion in the crucial agenda for the session. NA Speaker Asad Qaiser had convened the session last week.

The resolution may be taken up due to the recent death of PTI MNA, Khayal Zaman from Hangu. Due to this reason, the session is expected to be adjourned post Surah Fateha recitation till Monday. According to the sources, the decision of adjourning or continuing the session is at the discretionary power of the Speaker. The Opposition seem confident that the resolution would be passed as 152 opposition members signed it against PM Khan.
