Federal Minister of Planning and Development Asad Umar expressed satisfaction with the improved compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs), which has reduced the spread of Covid-19 cases in the region.
Briefing the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) media, the minister noted that in hospitals today there are less deaths compared to mid-June.
Similarly, there are less deaths of patients on ventilators as well, the minister added.
He said the situation could further improve if the masses continue to follow precautionary measures and lauded the administration and provincial governments for ensuring implementation of SOPs.
“Improvement is yet to be seen in Karachi,” he said.
